About Us

Welcome to Italian Mountain Life, created by myself, Graziano Prada, an Italian from Northern Italy.

Where I’m from the mountains are somewhere you visit every weekend and I’ve been heading off into the hills since I was 6 years old!

I’m passionate about the great outdoors, being in nature, keeping fit and healthy and breathing the cleanest air possible in beautiful surroundings.

If I could swap corporate life and be a hermit in the woods I would do! I’m not sure what my wife and kids would say about that! :-)

Here at Italian Mountain Life I want to share with you all the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from spending over 40 years of my life hiking, swimming, skiing, cycling and sledging the Italian mountains.

I hope you will find everything you need to catch the bug as I have and to make your life better by getting outside either by yourself or with your loved ones.

My family and I are based between Bormio in the mountains of Italy with a few necessary months in Milan and London.
